Self-Screening Instructions
To enable you to process BPSS Clearance by yourself you will need to hold digital documents so that a digital Right to Work and Identity check can be conducted without the need for someone to manually verify this on your behalf.
Digital Document Requirements:
- An in-date British or Irish passport and a valid UK driving licence
- An in-date passport and a valid UK driving licence, alongside a home office right to work share code
How it Works:
- You will receive an email containing a link to start your screening
- Once you have followed this link to the screening form you will need to sign the consent form
- Input the information that is required to complete the screening form
- Providing you have the correct digital documents you will be asked to upload copies of these and complete a ‘liveness’ photo to confirm your identity
- Once you have completed the screening form and all checks have been processed, you will be sent an email to notify you that your screening is complete and a report is available to download from the screening portal.
This helpful video gives a great overview of the whole journey.
Don’t have these digital documents?
If you don’t hold any of these documents you will need someone within your organisation who could manually verify your documents (this is not something you can do yourself). This person will need to look over your Right to Work documents to ensure the documents confirm your name, date of birth and your current address, you must be present when the nominated person looks over these documents so that they can match any identity documents with you present. If this is the method you would prefer to take, please kindly send me the nominated person’s name and email address so that I can get them added to the screening portal.
Lastly, if you think you may need to screen additional people, please do let me know so that I can ensure I send you some additional information on how the process works.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with the team
