How to Opt-out of Instant Employment Verification

We understand that connecting via your bank, payroll provider or via your Government Gateway account can seem like a very new way to confirm a person's employment history, however, we want to reassure you that this method of confirming your employment history is completely safe & secure, and is the quickest and easiest way to complete the screening form. However, if you would prefer not to connect please follow the instructions below:

1. At first, you will need to scan the QR code in order to get onto Konfir's site to opt-out of the service
2. You will come to a screen that tells you what method you may need to connect to, click next
3. On the next screen you will see an 'X' in the top right-hand corner, click on this to come out of Konfir's site
4. A pop-up message will appear asking you if you are sure you want to exit without submitting any details, click 'Yes'
5. You will then be asked to select a reason for not connecting. Once you have selected a reason you will be taken back to the screening form on our site
6. Now, you can select 'Add Activity' to begin inputting your work history or any other activity to confirm the period requested
